For our Amsterdam office we are looking for a motivated and well-skilled Microsoft Architect (Levi9 is a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner).

Job Description

Working on projects and solutions which we are developing for our customers
Translate the vision of the customer into architectures, systems and processes
Architecture and design - propose and implement technical solutions, ensure their integrity, and that the solutions can be built, implemented and maintained within timescales/budgets
Conduct technical and functional analysis, audits and code reviews
Work with the developmental team and actively participate in the developmental processes
Improve quality - investigate and prototype innovative approaches for improving software development practices and software quality
Technical design authority - internally recognized as a specialist on complex technical areas, will oversee benchmarking, installation, upgrade, configuration and deployment activities
Effectively support Sales and participate in various pre-sales activities

Analyze and research software requirements to determine feasibility of design and marketing requirements within time and cost constraints
Explain the Architecture and Design of software products to customers
Effectively articulate and present the benefits and technical advantages of solutions to technical and non-technical customers and staff members
Prepare product descriptions, estimates and proposals

Required Skills

Typical background for this position is an advanced study/knowledge in the field of computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies.
Technical degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or other related field.
5+ years of relevant working experience.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office SharePoint 2007, Microsoft BizTalk and other Microsoft technologies.
Proficient knowledge in OOP, .NET (C#, VB.net), ASP.NET, MS SQL (or other RDBMS).
Possess a creative, innovative, flexible and team player personality.
Ability to work in an international team with international team members. Experience with offshore teams preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
MCTS/MCPD certificate is a plus. Lead Enterprise Architect Program (LEAP) is a plus.
