Service Delivery Manager (ITIL/ASL)

For our Amsterdam office we are looking for a Service Delivery Manager, having the following qualifications:
  • University degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent technology degree preferred;
  • 3-5+ years IT Service Management experience;
  • Customer service-oriented;
  • Advanced understanding of software development life cycles and standard processes and correct application of them to real projects;
  • Knowledge of ITIL and / or ASL is a strong plus;
  • Good knowledge of Dutch, both written and verbal is required;
  • Knowledge of English (C1 level or higher);
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentations skills;
  • Strong analytical skills for solving issues with customers, ability to lead and take ownership;
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability and willingness to take initiative and accept accountability;
  • Ability to work in an international environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Creating Service Level Agreements with the assistance of sales and the maintenance line manager;
  • Periodically re-negotiating and / or altering Service Level Agreements based on changes to conditions or requirements;
  • Interacting with our maintenance centres for mitigating and solving escalations with urgency and determination;
  • Performing the suppliers’ role in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and chairing the CAB;
  • Providing detailed reports as per an agreed schedule (or on request), including management and account performance reports;
  • Managing the transition phase of transferring the functional, technical and procedural  knowledge to our maintenance and support organization;
  • Creation and correctness of invoicing customers;
  • Building and maintaining client relationships;
  • Ensuring quality and profitable services are performed with regard to the agreed SLA;
  • Ensuring that systems, processes and methodologies as specified are followed to ensure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery.
