Google introduces real-time searches

Prehistory.
Since its advent, not long ago the phenomena of micro-blogging services and social networks such as Twitter, FriendFeed and Facebook gain notability and popularity becoming a part of our daily lives. Of course such developments were noticed by web giants, such Google, which repeatedly mentioned about possible integrations and cooperations. Meanwhile, previously indicated services continue to grow attracting more participants.

With the further growth people quickly found the new role for services such Twitter and Facebook, where micro-blogging services become not only a perfect communication medium, but a valuable information and knowledge platform as well. By posting, sharing and recommending various types of information including news, tips and observations people make turn micro-blogging into perfect information transmitter.

It's time for integration.
Such change in information delivery cannot be ignored anymore, and last week Google, in association with Facebook, MySpace and Twitter announced series of innovations to its search results pointing to revolution in information access.

The new features consists of adding a stream of real-time content to search results. The innovation will allow users to get live updates on their query from Twitter, Facebook or blog posts published in the last seconds. Google will rank relevant results to show the freshest information. Users can even use a filter for search results to choose only updates from Twitter, FriendFeed and others micro-blogging services. The new search capabilities will also be available for Iphone and Android mobile devices.
