Business Process Management (BPM)
Service Orchestration and Monitoring Platform
Client: pioneer in the emerging Business Service Orchestration our client provides customers with software solutions that continuously monitors and analyzes the performance, efficiency, user experience and delivery of services and applications in Application Delivery Networks. The company's software delivered as a hosted service by using which customers get a complete insight in the way applications behave in the WAN.

Project aim: software web application development for orchestrating business processes throughout the enterprise. It provides an agent/service architecture where agents are embedded in the customer’s infrastructure and all information generated by those agents is handled by a centralized server component.  The server component can be either hosted (providing a remote service) or also be part of the enterprise infrastructure (stand-alone.) Agents manage a set of components in the infrastructure. Management consists of retrieving configuration and measurement data and in being able to change configuration settings. Agents regularly contact their server in order to pass information to the server and to retrieve configuration changes.

the web application is designed to virtualize and automate the alignment of IT services with business goals. The software application is delivered as a hosted and fully-managed service. Depending on the size of infrastructure, 1 or more agents are deployed to both monitor and manage infrastructure. These simple agents are designed to be low impact and easily upgradable. Data collected by the agents is sent to the Service Control Engine via a secure encrypted channel. Additionally, agents and devices can be remotely configured via the same secure channel, through connections initiated by the agent.
