MarketXS Pro for BlackBerry (Markit Mobile Desktop for BlackBerry)

MarketXSPro™ for BlacBerry® allows BlackBerry® users 24-hour wireless access to world’s financial markets. It is an easy-to-use mobile terminal for market professionals that enables access to prices and latest news from the world’s financial markets in real-time everywhere they go. MarketXSPro™ for BlackBerry offers personal portfolios, news, charts and alerts, allowing traders and investment managers on the move to respond quickly to market movement.

MarketXSPro™ application was developed as Java Micro Edition application using BlackBerry® Java™ Development Environment (JDE). The application connects periodically to server to collect the latest information and it is a server’s responsibility to collect the information from different information feeds. Beside textual screens with information, application also shows graphs and charts that represent the variation of stock prices user is interested about and subscribed to.

XOffice Sync4j Client for BlackBerry

This is BB client for synchronization of contacts, calendar and mail over Sync4j server with other PIM applications/servers. In this project we did rebranding, adopting mail synchronization to work with SyncML 1.1 (originally made for 2.0), implemented calendar synchronization and porting application on newer version of BlackBerry device. This was done in few iterations, but actually at the end is one product.

Data Collection Software

Client: The world's leading developer of software products for the automatic identification and data collection (AIDC) marketplace. The company offers a complete suite of solutions for product identification and tracking.

Project aim: Data Collection Application Development Software for Mobile Computing and Mobile Enterprise Applications. Complete product development life cycle. Testing levels: unit, system, regression, integration. It is developed the device-independent mobile application design tool with a server component capable of connecting Windows Mobile devices to back-office data in real-time. The system allows to quickly design modify and deploy scalable data collection and mobile enterprise applications using wizards and the drag-and-drop design interface.

Project includes development and support of embedded devices middleware, software and development tools.

Data Collection Software includes own development environment for PDA and Pocket PC with support of more than 40 types of producers. The tools are instrument for the applications development for mobile facilities integration into uniform information gathering system.
Data Collection Software Server includes several modules for management real time pocket application from administrative, security and data access point of view.

Tracking and Control System

Project aim: Tracking and control system that allows retail, wholesale and logistics companies to maintain full control over their work. There are three components to the system:

PC(s) module includes the software running in a Windows environment, a desktop reader and a docking station for connecting to handheld computers.
Tagged Assets. These are all the assets you wish to control with software. The system utilises all holders supplied by Scafftag Ltd which contain a chip that can be electronically read.
Handheld computers with an attached reader. These are used by your work force to control and collect information about the work they perform on your tagged assets.
