Why 9 is the Magic Number – Let’s Hear the Story of Dušanka Lečić

As part of our ongoing series celebrating dedicated careers at Levi9, we bring you another inspiring story of dedication, growth, and passion. In this edition, we share the journey of Dušanka Lečić who has spent the past nine years contributing to our culture of innovation and learning. Through challenges, achievements, and invaluable experiences, this story highlights what makes Levi9 a truly special place to work.

From Lecturer to Test Developer: A New Beginning

“I was a lecturer at a Technical faculty, enjoying my work with young people, but the daily travel and long hours, sometimes 12-13 hours a day, were exhausting. Then I heard about Levi9, a company where young professionals found happiness and fulfillment in their work. That was the moment I decided to apply for a job as a Test Developer.”

Starting at Levi9 was more than just a career change for Duška, it was a step toward achieving a dream, to work in her hometown, to be surrounded by passionate and talented colleagues, and to continuously learn and grow.

The support I received from the company in those early days is something I still appreciate, even after all these 9 years.

Nearly Decade of Unforgettable Moments and Growth

Looking back at the past nine years, it’s difficult to single out just one memory. Every project, every team, and every celebration holds a special place in her journey. “I’ve met incredible people, gained valuable experiences, and contributed to projects that made a real impact. I hope that many more memorable events await in the future.

Every day brings something new. The knowledge I’ve gained over the years is invaluable. More than that, working with different people has taught me important lessons – not just professionally, but personally as well. I try to take every challenge as an opportunity to improve and grow.”

From Arion to Everon, from PVH to Shirtup, each project has been an opportunity to innovate and push boundaries, Duška says. Working with the latest technologies and being surrounded by brilliant minds has made every challenge exciting.

The Levi9 Spirit: What Makes It Special

Levi9 is more than just a workplace. It’s a community of people who are eager to learn, share knowledge, and bring positive energy to everything they do.

“Lead by example” is not just a phrase—it’s a mindset that drives us forward. This energy makes it easy to stay motivated and find balance between personal and professional life.

When asked to share advice to joiners, she had short answer, straight to the point: “Ask questions – there are no stupid ones. Every answer helps you grow. In Levi9 we have a lot of people that are role models, truly inspiring colleagues who spread our company culture, and I continue to be inspired by them every day.”

Her hope is that the future brings even more young talents, new faces who will carry forward the values that make Levi9 special.

Cheers, Duška, here’s to the next nine years of growth, inspiration, and achievement!
